Or waste the time away?

Would I be thankful for my time,
Or spend it consumed with hate?

Would I forget to live,
Only to remember on my final day?
Would my final thoughts be
Of how I wasted life away?

Would I live life blindly?
Stumbling with closed eyes
Only to open them
With the cry of my final good-byes

If the nights were never-ending
But longer were the days
Would I live each day thoughtlessly,
As if I was here to stay?
