Tournament 99-01

In the first tournament of the year Jerry Jacobsson, Magnus Andersson, Fredrik Eriksson and Patrik Lögdahl - a rookie - gathered at Jonas Ahlkvist. This was the first tournament in a very long time. Every player played four games against each opponent. After the first four rounds it looked like it could be a close battle for the championship. In the next 8 rounds Jonas got up to lead followed by Jerry, and Fredrik and Patrik had a tough fight for third place. But in the last four rounds Jerry got four wins, which brought him to the top of leaderboard at the end, Jonas finished second. Patrik won the battle for third, beating Fredrik, who made his best tournament ever, by four points. With only 1 point Magnus finished last. As usual Jonas games were tight, few goals were scored, but on this day Patriks games were even tighter. For the first time in history Fredrik scored 10 goals in one game. Rumours says Peter Henell was at home, injured from to much pratice on his own.
