[translated] Jonas Aldgård is something of a Sunday-child. In a few years he has convinced with several lyrical pieces of work. The use of abstraction as a conscious intention to render something of the worldly spectacle is not a modern invention. It has been devoted in more or less successes since the beginning of the century. The paintings, which may be seen at Gallery Flesser are convincing. Smallest little sign or shape arouse thousands of reverberations and enrich our approach. It is difficult to find words that fits in. But it feels intense when something excellent really Is excellent. Curt Goedecke, Nordvästra Skånes Tidningar, Sweden |
