1998-12-31: New bassist Olof From has joined our band.
1999-03-18: We have a concert coming up. On the 24th of
April we and Otis and maybe some other band will play at
Fritidsgården Fågeln.
1999-04-14: The concert has moved forward two weeks,
new date is the 8th of May.
1999-04-23: The gig will take place friday the 7th of May.
The bands that will play are:
Anikin, Otis, Nemesis and a band playing covers by Ramones.
1999-06-16: We have just recorded our second
demotape. It includes the songs "Redemption"
and "Land of crystal beauty".
1999-07-12: We will play at "Göteborgs kalaset" on
the12th of August. The stage is in Kungsparken
and we will start to play 15.25
1999-09-30: We have recieved the first review of our latest demo.
It was published in Serenity Magazine #5 and goes as follows:

ANIKIN "Hymns from Dreamland" "Debut demo? Well, the jedi´s bring us melodic death metal
with this demo recording and actually the sound reminds
me of the laser weapons used in Star Wars, at least the
guitars. Only 2 tracks are featured + one bonus track that
is more rocking, not 100% tight either but that I can live with.
This nothing outraging; I have heard it all before, hell, I have
played it myself before. But it´s not so bad and I can stand
listening to it, now I just hope that these guys, like Anakin,
grows up and turn into the right side of the force...
But first they have to learn to control it."
