Autumn Max started as a national competition in 1989. In 1990 name was chanched into English and it became a World Cup competion. It was a yearly WC competion to 1995. Bad weather in -95 and a huge amount of work for our chairman Herbert Hartmann made us decide to let other clubs in Sweden have the opportunity to hold World Cup contests. In 1998 it also was a WC competion.

In 1999 it was one of four team selection competions and again large attended. In 2000 it was hold under new forms. Competion was divided in classes glider, rubber and engine. All free flight classes under each category in the same class! It was a big sucess and weather was good as usual.

Autumn Max has been held on the farmlands outside Jarpas all years except in 1999, when it was located at Satenas. Sunny and warm autumn weather has made the event one of the most popular contests in Sweden.
