Lake Runn

Two sediment cores were sampled in the northern part of this lake in 1981-04-14 and two more (cores 1082 and 1083, see below) in 1985-04-07.

These two  cores were sampled at a distance of about 400 m from each other. The organic content was high in these cores. In core 1083 the mean value of the loss on ignition amounted to 31.5 % of the dry weight for the core depth 0 - 10 cm.
