Beirut that was called "Paris of the east" before is now what you call "under construction". If you travel through Beirut you can't miss the feeling that you are travelling through a city that have been part of a war.

The first time I went to Lebanon I thought I would visit a flat country, guess if I was surprised to see all the mountains when I got there. It was a nice surprise since I like slalom.

resting.jpg (38210 bytes) Taking a well deserved rest in the middle of the ski slope, during a very sunny and nice day, it was around 20 degrees Celsius. There are some very nice slopes in Lebanon, so if you like slalom then I don't think you should miss the opportunity. It is not that expensive either, you can rent the skies rather cheep on your way up to the slopes.
And if you don't want to ski so why don't go to the beach instead ?
