In August -97 my friend and I was going to La Paz, Bolivia to work for one month. We ordered two tickets to La paz, and when we landed we noticed that we where in La Paz, Mexico of some reason. The travel agent had made a mistake when they booked our trip, they had taken wrong abbreviation for the city of La Paz.
Anyway we took the plane back to Mexico City and went around the airport to look for tickets to Bolivia after a few hours we found out that we had to go via Peru, if we didn't want to stay in Mexico City for some days. We bought the tickets and then we were on the way to Lima.

When we arrived in Lima we bump into a city guide, he promised us that he would take us to a nice hotel and that we should get a sightseeing the day after before our connecting flight to Bolivia.

Unforunately I don't have any pictures from Lima, but I must say that it's a very beautiful city and I hope it wasn't the last time I visit that capital.
