When I was in Botswana and worked, it was spring -98. Then my friend and I went to South Africa during eastern. It was a very short trip, but a nice one. We started to go from Gabarone to Pretoria and stayed there over the night. When we were driving we could see magnificent views and it was a mistake to not bring the camera. Anyway the next day we continued east to a place called Badplaas near the border to Swaziland, in Badplaas you have this big waterland, unfortunately we didn't bring any shorts so we could swim. After a short visit there we continued towards Johannesburg, we were supposed to meet a friend from South Africa in a place called Brakpan. When we arrived we stop at a restaurant to get some food and then we tried to call him for the following hours, after 3-4 hours we started our journey back to Pretoria. He didn't show up at all, but the beer was good.

When we were on our way they called us from Gabarone and told us that they had some problems with the system. So we had to try solve the problem over telephone or just drive directly to Gabarone, fortunately we could solve the problem so we could take it easy on the way home. When we were driving back to Botswana we took the way past the famous resort "Sun City".
