Amazing Thailand, nothing
is more true than that. I was there during the yearly Songkran Festival (The water
festival), and I must admit that I never had that fun and never been that wet.
For you that have never been there and don't know what it means... they are driving around
with pick-ups and in the back they have this big barrels with water and then they are
throwing on everyone that is passing and if you are going to Thailand in the middle of
April, count on getting wet !
|
Here I'm standing in front
of Sanphet Prasat Palace at Muang Boran "The ancient city". Muang Boran or The
Ancient city is the worlds largest open-air museum, it covers around 128 hectares (320
acres). And here you can see the most famous monuments of Thailand, when I was there I
could see that they were still building new monuments from their old history. |
|
And then we also got the
grand Palace in Bangkok. |
|
My most recent visit to Thailand was great, but I didn't get any tan because there are roofs on the bars, In Bangkok you got this three "famous" places with gogo bars,
|
The first two is along sukhumvit
road and they are the only ones I have visit so far. Soi Cowboy is a street between soi 21
and 23, and Nana plaza is on soi 4 (See map). Nana Plaza is three floors of different
bars. |

But the places I really
like to hang out on is the ones at "Buckskin Joe Village", That street is
opposite soi 1. The most of the bars there is pool bars, where you can play pool and drink
beer. And if you like disco's I know one good along sukhumvit road and that one is
the disco at Nana hotel, opposite Nana Plaza at soi 4. |
