Microsoft Explorer automatically detects files that do not have a html-format. Some versions require that you press the right mouse button when clicking on the link. Select "download as a file".
Netscape tries to download all files as html-files. The result is garbage for non html-files. One suggestion is to hold down the shift key and click on the link, or press the right mouse button and then select "Save link as ". Netscape is supposed to download the file. I have tried but not succeeded. If you know the correct procedure, please send me a description. If you still do not succeed to download a file, please let me know and I will send the file by e-mail.
When you download a file, you get a warning telling that the file may be infected by viruses. I do hope that this is not the case, I try to protect my files against viruses with the antivirus program F-Secure.
