The 20-21st of September the Swedish Hockeychampionships were decided. Read about each class below:

The men

In the men's series, four teams would compete for the gold medal. Valhalla and Partille from the southern series, and Stockholm and Roslagen from the northern. Stockholm and Partille met in the first semifinal. Stockholm won this match with 7-4, with 4-3 in half-time. In the second semifinal Valhalla and Roslagen met. This match was won by the team from Gothenburg, Valhalla. They won with 5-1, after 2-0 in half-time. This mean that the winners of the northern and southern series (Stockholm and Valhalla) would meet in the final, while Partille and Roslagen would play for the bronzemedal.

The third-place final Partille had no problems winning over Roslagen with 9-1

The final between Stockholm and Valhalla was considerable more even. Valhalla took the lead in the first half, through Ivan Tomac. No more goals was scored in the first half, but both teams had some very good chances to score. The second half was as even as the first one. It was looking to a victory for Valhalla, but Stockholm got penalty with only 6 minutes to go. The penalty-shooter for Stockholm: Thomas Ödqvist. Valhalla's goalie, Nicklas Stenberg, went to the left, the ball in the middle, and 1-1 in the match. And when Valhalla got a penaltycorner, Stockholm stole the ball from the stopper, broke away, and scored through Rickard Sandqvist just a few minutes before full-time.

The ladies

In the ladies final, the home team Nayan 81 LHC meet the divisionswinners Valhalla LHC. In the first match Nayan took the lead in the first match through Maria Gomez. Nayan managed to keep this lead to only a few minutes before full time, when Klara Petersson scored for Valhalla, and the first match ended a draw. The second match almost became a replay on the first one. But this time is was the other way around. Valhalla took the lead in the first half through Jennie Jedenberg. Valhalla almost managed to win, but Nayan's Moa Andersson managed to score with only minutes before full time, and the match went to "sudden death". The "sudden death" is played 2*7,5 minutes before the penaltyshootout. The first half was very even. But the determination would come in this half. With only seconds before half-time, Valhalla's Carolin Mueller got the ball, got in to the circle and scored with a hard shoot in the far post. This was Valhalla's second consecutive goldmedal.

The U-19 boys

In the U-19 boys final the two divisionswinners Valhalla and Stockholm. In the first match Valhalla dominated, but had trouble to score and Stockholm offered good resistance. The score after the first half was 0-0. In the second half Valhalla continued to put Stockholm under pressure. And finally the struggle paid of. Valhalla was rewarded a penalty. Mikael Mattsson scored and Valhalla took the lead with 1-0. Mikael's brother, Magnus scored twice before full time and Valhalla had won the first final. In the second match Valhalla had better luck, but scored once again through Mikael Mattsson at the penaltyspot in the first half. But this time Valhalla managed to score a few more goals before the full time final. But Valhalla got one player send off, and Stockholm used this situation well. They managed to score twice while Valhalla had a man in the penaltybox. But Valhalla was never threatened. Stockholm didn't get closer than 5-2 and Valhalla won eventually with 8-2. This was Valhalla's fourth consecutive goldmedal.

The U-19 girls

In the U-19 girls final the home team Nayan and the divisionswinner Valhalla LHC met. But this match was never as even as the ladies final. Valhalla drove over Nayan and won with 9-0 after 4-0 at half-time. For long periods there were 20 players on Nayan's half of the field! But it was a little bit harder in the second match. This time the final result was "only" 4-0 for Valhalla, but Valhalla is the champions after total 13-0. Their third consecutive gold medal.
