| Flasktext:
In an old English seaport there persists a strange legend which
claims that many centuries ago when Britain was at war, a monkey
was found clinging to a raft that had been washed ashore. The
poor creature, chattering from cold and fright was believed
to be speaking a foreign language. The monkey, thought to be
a spy, was arrested and met an untimely end. In sympathy for
that monkey, and in support of monkeys, this beer is called
Monkey Wrench. Daleside Brewery is owned by the Witty family. The Witty family have a tradition of brewing which goes back more than 600 years to the time when they arrived in England, late in the 13th Century, from Belgium, where the Witty tradition may have had its roots. Skills from this tradition of family brewing have produced this Monkey Wrench handcrafted beer for you to enjoy. Daleside Brewery are proud to carry on this long tradition of family brewing with their popular brews from the Dales of Yorkshire. | ||
