ISI Wedges
Many players know how important the short
game is. The real scoring happens when the
golfer has less than a full pitching wedge to
the green. Whether its' getting the ball close
to the hole for a birdie putt, or to save par,
the short game is important for every player.
In fact, many players are carrying three
wedges these days, and some are even
carrying four.
To help players score, ISI wedges are
available in 6 standard loft angles. Each
wedge is designed to be adjustable up to 2°
in loft, stronger (reducing loft) or weaker
(adding loft), to suit a players preferences
and the type of course on which they
normally play. They have a specially
contoured sole, so it has only one area of
contact, which helps prevent the the face
from twisting open open or closed when
hitting turf or sand. Also, the leading edge is
lower, so it cuts under the ball even when
laid open for a higher trajectory or from
difficult lies. The wedge system also allows a
player to build a set with the proper gaps
between each wedge. With 5 different loft
choices per wedges, there are 30 different
wedges to choose from !
