he 976R is a classic round-headed driver, with a smaller, more shallow face than the 975D. Like its counterpart, the 976R includes a combination hosel and thru-bore shaft feature to create a very stable and solid transfer of energy from club to ball. Its thicker face-crown junction brings the center of gravity forward, while the hosel and thru-bore shaft design moves the center of gravity inside, toward the heel. The smaller head with traditional bulge and roll promotes a truly "classic feel" and can be hit from the fairway, favoring shot workability and trajectory control. The 976R is offered in true lofts of 7°, 8°, 9° and 10.5° with the 44" Select graphite shaft in R, S, and X flexes.
